Two nights with full day farm and country tour. Includes breakfasts x2, morning tea & lunch.

Enjoy two nights at The Vicarage in the centre of pretty Geraldine and be escorted in your own car by experienced farming guides who will enjoy your company as much as you will enjoy theirs. Full day tour including breakfast, morning tea & lunch.

From NZ 1684.00 from 01 Nov.

This is your chance to connect with rural New Zealand, to learn what animals we farm, how we farm and feed them outdoors all year round, what markets we supply and how we are learning to sustainably manage the environment.

You will feed some sheep, visit historic farm buildings (Heritage protected) on an iconic New Zealand sheep and beef station, hear the stories of our early farm settlers, visit their graves and their oldest church. Enjoy the outstanding scenery as you traverse the hills, mountains and valleys around Geraldine.

The guides are respected local friends with extensive knowledge of farming and country life and they will connect you with the real New Zealand. You will be driving your own vehicle on well-maintained sealed and gravel roads which are suitable for all vehicle types.

Morning tea will be poured from a typical farmer's thermos with fresh baking. The tour will also include an on-farm experience, lunch, a native bush walk and the flexibility to adapt the route and the discussion to suit your interests. The guides will look forward to meeting you just as much as you will look forward to meeting them.
